Hey everyone, recently it has come to our attention that a member has recieved a spoof email which portray's itself as being sent by the TBE leadership, the aim of this topic is just to give you a heads up and a warning that this spoof email may be sent around to other members. The email itself seemed to have been aimed at trying to upset members and incourages them to leave the clan for fear of certain consequences in the clan world outside of TBE. I will post what the email said here for record's sake and so that any confusion can be sorted out if you did/do happen to recieve this email.
Just to reiterate, this email was not sent by the TBE leadership or via our infrastructure in anyway, and the email is best ignored should you recieve it. Any email's you recieve from the TBE leadership in the future will always be from Junglebiscui's Britishelites.com email address (jungle@britishelites.com), should the email not be from this address then essentially pay no attention to it and do not reply to it or follow its instructions. Also I would just like to say for future reference if you do recieve any email from the TBE staff regarding yourself or anything that you feel affects you, please always come to us and talk to us about it before making any decisions. In the majority of cases anything relating to members of TBE will be discussed in person with you over IRC or RuneScape, not through a poorly written email. As a final note, please remember to keep your personal email addresses private and not to post it in public places where it can be used against you. On that note every email address on our forum is secure as long as you do not personally make it public. |

Yes, if anything is sent from TBE boards you will be able to reply to my britishelites.com email as jin said - unfortunately there are a lot of turnips out there who do these sorts of things. Just makes us stronger :-) |
